NCWD/Youth Links Policy

Introduction
Thank you for visiting the National Collaborative on Workforce and Disability for Youth (NCWD/Youth) website and reviewing the NCWD/Youth links policy. To suggest a link for placement on NCWD/Youth's website, you must submit it through our online form. The information contained in the submission will be used to review the suggested website and to contact the applicant if any questions arise. This information will be treated as confidential.

Links from our site
Our decision to add a link to the NCWD/Youth website is governed by the policies listed below.

  1. The ownership of the site may be taken into consideration in deciding whether to link to a website. We will seek to include all relevant organizations including those that are national in scope, not-for-profit, government offices and agencies, academic bodies, and other professional organizations.
  2. The suggested website must contain regularly updated content; must comply with the section 508 guidelines regarding accessibility of websites; must not endorse positions or advocate actions that are contrary to the goals and mission of NCWD/Youth, endorse political parties and/or candidates, religious denominations, and must not contain objectionable content. Objectionable content is defined as offensive material, offensive speech, or sexually explicit material.
  3. We reserve the right to annotate any list of links that we produce. We will not seek editorial approval on any comments we wish to make.
  4. The suggested website taken as a whole should be appropriate for our audiences.
  5. Criteria for NOT accepting a link include, but are not limited to:
  1. NCWD/Youth reserves the right to reject or remove any link at any time and without notice or reason. A link may be removed if its content no longer meets our policy criteria or its content is outdated or erroneous.
  2. An individual or organization may request that any links to their website be removed from our website.

Links to our site
You do not need to ask permission to link directly to the homepage of our website at http://www.ncwd-youth.info, if you wish to direct someone to a specific part of our website, you should give them navigation tips with the link.

You do not need to ask permission to use our logo image, if it is used to link to our homepage. With the image, you must include an ALT tag which states: "Resource: The National Collaborative on Workforce and Disability for Youth."

We will not accept the display of any link to NCWD/Youth that in any way states or implies our endorsement of any product or activity unless otherwise agreed in writing. We will request the immediate removal of any such link that infringes this condition.
